Jack’s story is nothing short of remarkable. After coming to Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) with a limited number of GCSEs, he is now in his final year of A-Levels, progressing from the GCSE Pathway with impressively improved grades.
Taking on a diverse subject range of Law, Maths and Creative Media, Jack was keen to make the most of his time at college and the facilities available. His standout subject turned out to be Law, speaking of his long-term interest in the complex English law system but also importantly how enjoyable and exciting his teachers makes every lesson.
He has great praise for his journey at college, “RuTC makes dreams happen and identifies the best qualities in yourself.”
Support from teachers and senior staff members
Finding the support he needed through the staff and facilities at RuTC, Jack has been able to hone his interests and focus on his studies. The library has been a particularly calming environment, where he has been able to concentrate on his subjects and delve into his love of learning. He also pays tribute to the staff who he says, “love giving positive, motivating feedback.”
Jack’s thirst for knowledge and experience will take him on to St Mary’s University next, to complete a LLB degree in Law. An incredible achievement from where he began his journey at RuTC!
His ideal future career is in business management, where his motivation and passion can shine through.
