Conditional offer
If your interview/audition is successful, you will receive a conditional offer. This means that as long as you meet the entry requirements for the course and attend your allotted Enrolment date, then you will secure your place on your course of choice.
The course’s entry requirements will be listed on your conditional offer email, which will be sent to you a few days after your successful interview. You can also find them on the specific subject course page.
If you are not made an offer at your interview/audition, we will discuss alternative options with you and if you are interested in a different course, we will arrange an interview for you with that course.
-
Application closing date
We do not have an official closing date for applications, but we advise that you apply as early as possible during the academic year to secure your place on the course you want to study.
-
Enrolment
Enrolment is the final stage of the application process and will take place from GCSE results day onwards.
During your Enrolment session, we add your details to the system to make you an official Richmond upon Thames College student and finalising your place at the College.
Details about Enrolment will be sent to you via email in late-July/early-August. If possible, we ask that you try to avoid booking any holidays from GCSE results day onwards as, if you are unavailable, this may jeopardise your place at the College.

Applying for an Apprenticeship
Applying for an Apprenticeship is a little different to applying for A Levels or a vocational course. Apprenticeships are jobs with training and qualifications, so rather than applying for the course, you apply for the job. You can find out more about Apprenticeships and apply for vacancies on our HRUC website.

Do you need extra support at RuTC?
Inclusive Learning Support and EHCPs
If you require Inclusive Learning Support or have an EHCP, please give us as much information as possible when you apply (there is a section about this in the online application form).
If you have an EHCP, please ensure that you inform your key worker at your local council and ask that they send your EHCP to our Inclusive Learning Support team.
Once we have your application, we will contact you to confirm your EHCP status and, if necessary, to remind you to complete the above process.
