Vocational student, Orowo, is top of her class at Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC)!
Studying all three sciences on our BTEC Level 3 Science course, she has huge aspirations to become a medical doctor in the future.
Joining RuTC from Nigeria, Orowo has worked hard to take advantage of the learning opportunities and enrichment activities available at college, choosing to study with us because RuTC has “the best courses.”
Joining college trips to properly integrate herself with her classmates and learn more about her new city, Orowo speaks highly of her visits to Greenwich Museum and London Zoo.
Confidently able to seek support and advice when she has needed it, Orowo has got to know our staff base well, finding comfort in the knowledge that help is always available when needed.
Orowo can’t praise her time at RuTC highly enough, stating: “RuTC is the best college to come to. It has the best courses, activities and support you might need.”
Inspire yourself
When asked who inspires her, Orowo responds that it is her family is who truly motivates her to do well and be the best version of herself. She expresses her appreciation for their support and encouragement, especially when things seem difficult. On top of this, she adds, “I inspire myself!”
Thinking more about her future as a doctor, Orowo’s ambitious plans include opening a hospital with her medical experience, to help those most in need.
Her advice to fellow students is: “Be inspired by all and reach for your goal!”
