Entry requirements
English and/or Maths grade 2 (or equivalent) or above and a successful interview.

Who is the course for?
Students interested in pursuing a career in the care industry, (such as nurseries, schools, care homes, social work or hospitals etc.) including those who want to work towards a Level 2 progression qualification in either Childcare, Early Years or Health and Social Care.

Study methods
This is a classroom based qualification, with a mandatory element of industry work experience built into your study program. A range or written and practical tasks, assignments and activities are undertaken.

How is the course assessed?
The course is continually assessed against units of study. Competence must be proven in all areas for students to progress onto a Level 2 progression course. All units must be fully completed.
