Entry requirements
Minimum 4 GCSE grades at 3 or above (grade D or above) including Science, Maths and English, plus an interview.

Who is the course for?
This course is designed to prepare students for the Level 3 vocational course, or a science apprenticeship.

Study methods
The course involves taught lessons, practical classes, portfolio building sessions, exams and workshops. Students are expected to work on their coursework outside their timetabled classes.

How is the course assessed?
Principals of science and study kkills units are taught by external examination. The rest of the units are coursework based and build up a portfolio of exams.

There will be plenty of opportunities to go on a range of trips to places such as; the Wellcome Trust, Science Museum, London Zoo, and Royal Observatory, to name a few. There will also be the chance to go on work experience, visit industrial placements and to have guest speakers. These will help enhance your CV and job opportunities.
