Earlier this month, Richmond upon Thames College (RuTC) was proud to present a Jack Petchey award for excellence to BTEC, Level 2 Applied Science student, Wiktoria Jakuszyk.
Wiktoria won this award for being a respectful student who engages and participates well in class activities. She is recognised by her peers and tutors as being a bold student who takes the initiative to help and support classmates. She is also a lead voice in raising students' concerns and welfare in the class, something valued very highly at RuTC.
Along with this, Wiktoria's communication skills are described as excellent and the lively spirit she brings to lessons creates a positive atmosphere and attitudes towards learning – she is praised as the heartbeat of her class! Academically, she is excelling in her science subjects and has committed to 100% attendance and punctuality.
Congratulations to Wiktoria, she is thoroughly deserving of this award!
Wiktoria commented on her achievement:
“Success is not just a destination, but a journey paved with determination, perseverance, and unwavering commitment. Winning this wouldn't have been a possibility if it weren't for my lovely group and my friends and family!”
